Giddings advises on serious road traffic accidents, including hit-and-run and head-on collisions causing severe brain injury, cognitive impairment and fatalities. Coombs handles claims involving vulnerable claimants, including children and passengers sustaining traumatic brain injuries in low-visibility and high-risk scenarios. Parker advises on contribution claims and assists with complex, multi-party quantum disputes. Richard West and Nicola Hammerton joined the team in September 2025.

Middleton advises on catastrophic injury cases arising from workplace and road traffic incidents, including machinery failures leading to amputation and collisions involving severe orthopaedic injury. Kathryn Oldfield assists with claims against local authorities and in the hospitality sector, including defective equipment incidents and workplace accidents involving limb loss, as well as stress-related claims causing physical issues. Philippa Craven advises on industrial disease matters, including noise-induced hearing loss, occupational asthma, and mesothelioma.

Emily Eastwood assists with equestrian-related liability disputes, including allegations of unsuitable equipment and inadequate instruction. Andrew Williamson advises on catastrophic road traffic accident claims involving motorcyclists, including amputations and severe brain injury linked to collision and highway defect allegations. Paul Baxter assists with high-value claims involving minors and passengers, including traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury and incidents involving unstable loads and multi-vehicle collisions.

Acting for defendants and insurers in complex liability disputes, Trethowans LLP (part of Lawfront)’s practice is led by Kelvin Farmaner, who advises on motorcycle collisions involving caravans and rear-end allegations, occupiers’ liability claims arising from slips causing fracture and nerve damage, and disputes concerning alleged utility failures. Bethany Blamire assists with employers’ and public liability claims, including overseas accidents, fatal pedestrian collisions and workplace burn injuries.
